Knowing the incredible strength and spirit Tony showed us all while facing his illness, our deepest wish is to offer hope and encouragement to others going through tough times. We want them to see in Tony's journey that it's possible to keep fighting, to truly live each day with purpose and joy, and to never let their illness define who they are inside.
So many witnessed Tony's amazing resilience firsthand. He didn't let his illness stop him from living. He kept exploring, kept connecting, kept being himself. Some may not have even known the seriousness of what he was facing because he simply refused to let it take over his life. That's the heart behind his words, "EVERY DAY IS A GREAT DAY!" It wasn't just a saying; it was how he lived, and it's the message we want to share with anyone who needs a little extra light in their fight.

The Knock on Wood Foundation's mission is to give financial support to organizations doing research on treatments to cure cancer as well as helping financially with patients receiving care.

The Tony Wood Memorial Golf Tournament at Sea Island Resort in Saint Simons Island, GA, is the first event of many held in remembrance of Tony Wood, raising awareness and funds to help find effective treatment for childhood cancer.
